This the Upper Deck SP Derek Jeter baseball card. Considered the 'cream of the crop' of all Jeter rookie cards. It was released in a special edition pack of only 24 cards. Card is very delicate, made with foil. Value is around $75.

Derek Jeter's first full year with the New York Yankees was in 1996. He made an immediate impact, and helped the Yankees win the World Series that year. He was the American League rookie of the year.

Pictured here is the 2000 Jeter baseball card from Topps. The card shown here has been professionally graded is worth about $50. Ungraded cards range between $5 to $10.

2000 was a great year for baseball fans, especially New York fans, it was a Subway Series match up between the Yankees and Mets. The Yankees won the series 4 games to 1. Derek Jeter had a tremendous Word Series, capturing the series MVP. He batted an astounding .409 with 2 homers.

Fantastic action shot in this Derek Jeter baseball card, by Topps, produced in 2009. Value of card is about $5. Card features Jeter avoiding the baserunner and throwing unto first base, to complete a double play.

Many experts agree Jeter has lost range at shortstop due to age, but he can still turn two with the best of them.

The Yankees won the Word Series in 2009, defeating the Phillies.

The 2011 Topps Derek Jeter baseball card features Derek in another spectacular pose. It appears he is doing his patented 'jump throw' from deep in the hole at shortstop. Since this card is brand new, it's worth about a buck.

All of Jeter's baseball cards should keep increasing over time, especially as he will be a certain hall of fame inductee in his first year of eligibility.

Derek Jeter solidified his hall of fame status when he collected his 3,000 hit off of David Price (of the Tampa Rays) on July 9th , 2011. Jeter did it in style, with home run, and went 5 for 5 on that day!
